Holiday Luxe Box

Work has been in a word: insane.

And today I got my 2nd Luxe Box of the year :) I originally ordered the first edition and since then, I’ve been slacking. I obviously never got around to posting November, but here’s December and its even sweeter! Although I have yet to try these, its quite exciting receiving such a pretty package each month :)

Leftover Lunch.

I love food. If you don’t know me, that is one thing you should know (also that I love the colour purple – not the novel or the movie, the actual colour). Anyways, I find it difficult to have a creative, simple, delicious lunch when I always sleep in to the very last minute before work (with no evening prep). So today, I was able to stay home and with my leftover tuna salad – spread it on toast, add some cheddar and create a quick yummy tuna melt (sorta). Literally took 5 minutes. – twas yummy.

Hallowe’en

Just over a week ago, I decided – I love Hallowe’en again. I know as a kid, I loved dressing up and of course the inevitable candy, but also the tradition of pumpkin carving that came with it! After growing out of trick-or-treating it just became an excuse to go out and looking forward to the next-day candy sale.

Now as a twenty-something, Hallowe’en has become something I definitely look forward to again. This year, I created my costume (!!), dressed up (twice), partied, handed out candy, and still carved my pumpkins with my family :) OH and did something new and created some home-made caramel corn (via this recipe from cupcakesandcashmere.com) which will definitely be a new tradition :)
